PIONEERTS-A6977S A-Series 6" x 9" deep 4-Way Coaxial 650 Watts Car Audio Speaker

I have a good sub, tiny tiny door speakers and a couple smaller Sony rounds in the back, think maybe 6’. The lows were good in that setup but the highs and mids sucked for most songs. I looked for 6X9s that had good reviews for highs and mids and considered starting over with component speakers. I found these that were somewhat cheap but had great reviews. Totally do not regret it. I don’t think I could get any better without going way up in price or all high quality components. At high volume before, I never distorted but now it’ll distort but sounds great right up until then. I’ll probably hook the speakers to an amp now. I paid some folks to set my truck up initially and they messed it all up and I ended up with a single enclosed sub in back.

Excellent sound for the price. They could be $100 and I would still buy them. I had some other model pioneer and they were horrible compared to this one. These are like $55 and are pretty heavy and sound great for hip hop. I installed these on an ej civic and have enough bass for me to more care to have a sub in the back.

Replaced the stock speakers in my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic and the improvement in clarity from the mid range and highs are a huge improvement. The bass hits hard especially if your radio has a multi band EQ vs just bass and treble controls. Can turn up the volume much higher than I could with the factory speakers. Can easily get away without using an amp with these as they have a good sensitivity rating but I think I'm going to end up using a Kenwood amp rated at 75 watt/channel on them to really wake them up since it's just sitting in my garage collecting dust. Edit: hooked up a Kenwood amp to these and they responded very well. Plays lows and highs effortlessly at high volume without distorting. Good as factory replacement even better if amplified.

These were a great upgrade for my car. Considering same speakers for my truck now

These speakers have great sound quality. I can tell a huge difference from my factory speakers. I ordered two more for my back doors.

Not the best speakers out there but you can’t beat them for the price.6x9s have they limitations as it stands, and anything better than these is going to be a big jump in price for comparably small increase in performance.I would recommend these over anything else under 100$.Maybe a little lacking on the low end but I like that since they can be pushed pretty hard before they distort and you can easily make up for any missing low end with a small subwoofer.

Excellent sound. Installed in WJ 2004 Grand Cherokee front doors. You will need a 1/2" spacer to clear the window. Well worth it!

I installed these in a Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette player. I had old pioneer speakers that were 30 years old, they gave out. These speakers are ok at low volume but 1/4 volume they sound distorted. I was going to buy 4, glad I only bought 2. I do not recommend for good quality sound with any volume for classic rock! I’ll order better quality for my rear speakers. You get what you pay for!
