I did have a neighbor put it on my vacuum but the just was done in only a few minutes. Hate to admit at 68 yrs old I’ve never put a belt on a cleaner

I think these belts were stronger and thicker than the originals. And they were half the price of those on E-Bay.

My former *genuine* Eureka belt lasted for many years so I’m very annoyed with this subpar product.It worked well enough for a few weeks but smelled slightly like rubber the entire time.After less than a month…my vacuum started smoking with a terrible smell along with making a loud clanging noise.The video is to show the general noise but it was much louder and more clangy while I was actually vacuuming.I inspected the belt and as you can see by the pictures…it had formed lumps, shreds, etc in several places plus it smelled terrible.I tried the second belt and it was so loose that the brush roll didn’t really spin.This purchase was a waste of money that could’ve potentially damaged my vacuum and most importantly…could’ve harmed/killed my pet parrots because I was vacuuming in my bird room when everything started.Birds have complex respiratory systems that are fragile and very sensitive so it was incredibly stressful:I had to immediately put the smoking vacuum cleaner outside, air out the bird room and monitor my birds for respiratory distress for awhile.
