Seems to be very good. Runs cool. Outputs 1500W
I did some quick testing on this inverter after receiving it. I'm using a 48V 14s e-bike lithium ion battery to power it for backup emergency power. It seems to have no trouble providing 1500W continuous output. It didn't even get hot enough to turn on the fans. It starts a refrigerator with no problems. So far, so good!

Works well with solar
I've had this 48V PSW Aims inverter for almost 5 years. I use a solar PV array to charge up a 48V battery bank via a MPPT charge controller. This inverter has kept my fridge running constantly and I can run window AC unit in summer as well as smaller items at the same time. Very happy with this item for off grid solar. The low voltage alert is a helpful feature.

Startup is not what it says
Not to happy with this 24v 1500/3000w Aims pure sine inverter, my small 700w microwave wont start up sometimes. and the light bulbs flicker. my old modified sine 12v inverter same size ran everything with no flicker of the lights. I was expecting a better product outta Aims spending double the price of the other Chinese inverters

Good product, just longer to get than wanted, 10 or 11 days

My replacement work excellent!!!
Bought especially because of previous review stating they were running fridge and window unit no problem, so far I can run one or the other even if I turn them on separately, both are low wattage units, I do need to get proper terminals for the cables 6 GA but nothing is getting hot running off 2 new exide 31 115AH batteries fully charged, took 2 days to charge, voltage well over 24v while running. Will update after terminals are installed could be the problem don't could it out yet. I am quite sure this thing has no surge power, maybe a solid inverter, but not for real loads.UPDATE-So terminals are soldered, didn't think it was going to fix it, but even with terminals soldered batteries still have a good decent charge, this won't will barely run the ac and the mini fridge together, you have to plug the fridge in, then turn the ac fan on, and then when everything is up to speed turn the ac compressor on, so to further test I hook a small heater with a 750w and 1500w switch. Won't even think about firing it up even switched low, 750, either I got a bad one or this thing is garbage. Let's see how the return goes.UPDATE-My replacement arrived today, inverter will now run my small heater on HIGH pulling 1400 watts continuously, now it will start both the AC and mini fridge at the same time no issue, this is what I paid for, now I'm happy.Make sure you put a serious load on these things when you get them to test them.

This unit died after 30 day of low usage!
It worked great until I tried to put a 1000 watt load on it, it then promptly died!

Rating is overstated, but still a good value.
I tried the 12V version and it would thermally shut down after 5 minutes at 1200 watts load. This 24V will run it continuously, but much over 1200 Watts it trips out for overload protection. So really this is a 1200W inverter. But i've looked everywhere and I cannot find any other good option with American support and a good name at this price point to consider otherwise. So I have to give it 5 stars, there's no real alternative here. Just wish it truly was 1500 watts as my load is right at 1200W, so I don't have any margin. May just by a second and split up the load, as thats still cheaper than buying a bigger one.

Would consume more than my 12v system.
I was using a 12v 210Ah system with solar panels @ 350W. Bought this inverter because my previous one, also AIMS, is amazing, 1000W (2,000 Peak) but it was 12v and that limits the amount of solar panels I could have on my office grid. I did the conversion from 12v into 24v, reducing my 220Ah into 110Ah, but increasing voltage. For some reason, now my solar panels now weren't charging fast enough the battery system (either that or the inverter was using more power than it was charging). Not really sure, even a local electrician (friend of mine) tried with the settings if the SRNE ML2440 Charger Controller to make sure the configuration was correct, we changed wiring for a 4mm size to reduce resistance, and still the system was underperforming. And I noticed the underperformance 2 fold. 1. More time to change the same batteries, and 2. Charge would drain faster with same load. This AIMS is great, but I do not think its the right one for a solar system. I guess its better to go with an inverter made for solar panels in mind.
