Last time around I purchased the SmoothMove version consisting of a box and a separate cover. I suppose that those are good if you intend on keeping the boxes. However, assembly requires adult supervision and a great deal of time. Disassembly to dispose of the boxes was very time-consuming as well.THESE are just as sturdy. ASSEMBLY CONSISTS OF UNFOLDING THE BOX and dropping one piece of cardboard which reinforces the bottom. When it is time to get rid of the boxes, re-folding them is a snap.A clever design allows you to securely close the box without tape. Movers like these because of the cutouts that become handles.These are large boxes and the hold a great deal of stuff. Of course then they can become extremely heavy. I had one box with a Kitchenaid stand mixer which is intentionally heavy, an indoor grill, a food processor and some other goodies. The box held up like it was stuffed with socks.

I never thought I'd be so in love with a cardboard box... but let me tell.you just how in love I am! These are one of the best investments I have ever made in preparing for a cross country move, I've done it several times. I will never again go hunting for boxes, stalking the grocery store or my friends for cardboard donations. Spend the money, it will be the best decision of your life.These boxes are so simple to assemble, really do not require tape (unless you over stuff em, guilty) and are insanely sturdy and stackable.It took being 31 for me to take the plunge and invest in moving boxes but I will never look back, greatest decision in all my 31 years on this planet!

Best moving decision I made! Only mistake was not ordering more — I ended up needing five more boxes the evening before the move and ran to the store to get the standard version. They were not nearly as easy to put together as these boxes and re-affirmed my choice to go with these. I’m a single woman and it was an incredibly easy (and tape-free) process to open the boxes up, fill them, and close them. They stacked perfectly and are re-useable — after the main move we went back and did a final sweep using a couple of these boxes, which we had flattened and then re-shaped.

I have moved several times over the last few years, and have tried almost every box available. These banker boxes with the tuck-in handles are the best. No tape needed to close them, and if you forget something and need to re-open they open/close easily. The flaps also give good cushion on the hands when using the handles to move the boxes. The cardboard is very thick and sturdy. I moved a 50-lb. multi-function printer in this box, and it held up. I have bought these boxes in every size, and they are definitely the best. I've saved them and reused them several times, and they still stand up time after time.

I will never use anything else to move. These were the best boxes and eliminate the tape mess. Plus forgiving in the fact I could reopen a box to add an item or reorganize without destroying the box.
