However, as noted in other reviews the o2 sensor tends to die very quickly, my first one lasting 1 day and the second a week. Looking into this it seems to be a problem with the gauge starting to heat the sensor as soon as it gets power meaning it is in the process of being warmed when the engine fires up, shock cooling it with the initial vaporisation of the water condensed in the exhaust and damaging the fragile internals. To fix this I installed a switch and manually turn on the gauge a split second after starting the engine, so far this sensor has lasted quite some time. Hopefully there will be a firmware update in future requiring the RPM input be connected so the gauge can wait until it sees and RPM signal to start heating.
