What I liked:- a very good lens, high quality materials, good results on Sony a6400;- very easy focusing, as expected;- compact format - about the same size as a kit lens (16-50 PZ OSS) when fully extended.What I didn't like:- minor misalignment of the "ROKINON" logo/text on lens's front element (can't see how to attach the picture to illustrate the issue).

Its not fitting cannon at all , i guess it needs an adapter

Es el segundo lente que tengo de esta marca, mi cámara es una Sony Alpha a6500, el primer Rokinon que adquirí fue un 12mm, ambos son manuales, la calidad de las imágenes es muy buena, la foto que adjunto fue tomada con el 8mm y posteriormente editada en Adobe LightRoom, igual lo he utilizado para retratos cuando quiero que un gran área del fondo aparezca por completo en la foto.

It has a potential to be a great landscape addition to your kit. Especially if you are into the night sky photography. Unfortunately I received a bad copy. The very left side if the image was slightly out of focus. Not much but enough to notice at 100 % magnification. Also looking to the front the markings on the lens were slightly off set (possibly the reason for the focus issue).A returned the item.Otherwise great fun.

feels extremely well made and solid. A compact but heavy lens that gives a quality feel. Great specialty lens that is sharp and fills a small void in the Fujifilm X-system lens lineup.

Awesome lens! Small, robust, and optically fantastic. I've had fun taking milky way photographs with this lens. I also just got an NEX converted into infrared, and just happens to turn out that this is one of the best wide angle lenses I have now for infrared (the other wide angle lenses have a lot of light scatter problems, especially stopped down; this one you can stop down a little for that great FOV and still get no hotspots).The only thing I don't like is that the close focus is not very good--this only affects a very small portions of the shots I would ever take, so it's not a major issue to me, but please take note. It's close focus is about 1' away, which is not close enough if you want a small flower or feature to fill up the frame (or even if you want the gimmick shot of the person or dog with a "big nose"). I believe the older, f3.5 fisheye has a closer focus, at least my friend's alpha mount version does. Extension tubes are too thick to allow macro focus on such a small-focal lens, but I found I was able to remove the lens and pull it out about a milimeter to enable close focus, but this required the lens to be rotated 45 degrees to half fit in the bayonet mount, and then the petal hood, no longer aligned, cut off the edges of the image. Since you can't remove the hood on this lens, its not easily corrected.

En relación calidad precio es bueno, lo único que tiene falla es que no enfoca al infinito, este lente para paisaje no sería una opción, sin embargo cuando necesito hacer fotografía de un grupo amplio de personas en un espacio pequeño es una opción excelente. Le doy cuatro estrellas solo por el enfoque infinito.
