BROOMSTICK STIFF! Poor Quality and terrible Feel
I received my fishing rod 2 days ago which was really early so I was excited! I took it out on the water today and already had issues.First, might I say, to get all the eyelets lined up is a terrible task. the flop around and twist when in use, almost every 3rd cast I had to tweak with the rod.The rod is way stiffer than they state. It is not a medium rod. It feels as if I am fishing with a broomstick.Save your money and stay away from this product. Buy Kastking or some other brand as this is just not worth your time, or money.

It broke, ordered another!
Update: I have been contacted by product support after they seen this review. They immediately shipped me a new pole! Thank you!Absolutely love this pole! It broke on me super fast though (less than a month). So I immediately ordered another one! However... I emailed the company for a replacement. I have yet to hear from them... I'll add to this review later.Compact, It doesn't feel cheap. It's robust.Only negative I have is once you expand it, you have to line up the eyelets. That's fine though. Buy it and have fun!

Great portable casting rod. Very happy!
I'm really enjoying using this telescopic casting rod. I have a Blackhawk 2 as well and I can definitely see a few of the same components in both. Having said that, I enjoy this smaller 5.9 foot size for bank fishing vs the BH2 7'1 as well as the look of this rod. Less likely to hit tree branches. I've only caught dinks but the sensitivity is fine even for them. The fit and finish is a little better on the Kastking BH2 but not worth the extra price IMHO. Either way, you'll get a nice portable rod for the money. Hope this helps.

this rod is so good I bought all 3 colors, telescopic fishing poles is all I ever use in the past 20 years. this pole I like a lot.
