Exactly what you I wanted
I got a new license plate and inturn wanted a new bracket. This one is perfect for an Ohio license plate since we have tags on the left and right hand side of the license plate. This bracket goes down lower in the corners on the bottom so you can see the tags. Very good quality very happy with my purchase.

Very thin sheetmetal, but how sturdy does it have to be?
Apparently the new trend in license plate surrounds is to make them from the thinnest material possible. I'm used to the old cast zinc surrounds with deep embossed CAL-BEARS or UC BERKELEY imprints with paint on them. This surround is thin and has printed labels, and it was the closest I could get to what I wanted. Good enough, figure it will need replaced in a few years on both Jeeps.

Sharp-looking frame
This frame has a unique look. I like how the school colors are on the frame. I think it looks good on my car. As other reviewers have noted, the labeling are just stickers, but I knew that when I bought it. I've only had it a couple of months. It will be interesting to see how the stickers hold up in the hot and bright Florida sun after a few years. The school name is printed very small, but you are able to read the state name on the license plate. Many frames end up covering some or all of the state name at the top of plate.

Great looking frame
My sister is a graduate of Arizona State University, and I got her this frame as a Christmas stocking stuffer. She said it's a good looking frame. Well made, and likes the cut outs at the bottom, for our states required stickers to be seen. Both of us recommend this frame.

University of Michigan License Plate Frames
I had plastic frames before but after 5 harsh winters below zero and summer heatwaves over 100 degrees they just wore out. I was so excited to find your metal ones. Before putting them on my car I traced the part that would touch the car with a small amount of silicone.Thank you so much, These are so BEAUTIFUL, I would recommend them to any University of Michigan Fan, Student, Alumni and Parents!

It’s cute - just flimsy. I accidentally grabbed it trying to pull up my trunk and it bent it irreparably.
