The baton series are great lights. I had the previous version to this, the S1R Baton 2, for years and loved it. I misplaced it on a trip out of town and immediately ordered the latest version when I got back home. This light is part of my daily pocket carry.The UI is very easy to pick up. Although not simple enough to just hand off to someone and expect them to know how to use it. Meaning, it’s not just a single brightness with an on/off button. It will default to the medium brightness setting after remaining off for 10 min or so. If you’re an edc enthusiast, then you’ll have no problem figuring out the UI. If this is your first time with a light like this, a quick read over the manual and you will have it memorized in no time.Battery life is very good for the way I use it. My most common use it walking outside to my car at night or a quick inspection at work. I’ve also used it for short walks at night on the lower brightness settings with great success as well. It can be used as a work light on a higher setting in a pinch, but might not last long enough to get the job done.Two aspects I love most about this light are the magnetic tail cap and dual pocket clip. I use the magnetic tail cap often when doing some quick work on the car. I also use the pocket clip attached to my hat brim more often then I thought I would. I don’t need a dedicated headlamp and this works perfect in a pinch when I need my hands free.The color temperature is a little on the cold side compared to other brands of lights I’ve used. Meaning is has more of a blueish tint. Olight is now offering some of there other lights in warmer temperatures, but have yet to offer it on the Baton 3. This is a minor detail, but I thought it worth mentioning.The battery is removable and replacements are available. It is a proprietary version of a 16340 due to the magnetic charging tailcap. I have never had to replace the battery and have always used the one provided with no problems or need for a spare.Overall it is a great light. I never leave the house without it and use it on a daily basis. I plan to expand my collection with some of Olights other offerings in the future.

This is a very nice flashlight. Very sturdy, well built and the clip is functional as well as the magnetic end. Love the different settings, they are all useful in their own ways. The brightness on the highest output is awesome when you need it. Battery life is really good. Very small, compact flashlight that is easily carried for an EDC light. Charges quickly and holds a charge for quite a while. I haven't tracked or timed it but I have gone up to a couple weeks without needing to recharge. So far, so good with it.

4th Olight i now own. All great. This is the size of a grown man's thumb. Coolest and easiest modes to use. Bright as heck if you hit the button twice. I bought one for my son at Christmas. He's been working nights on planes and after a month he said he wished he had the thing when he started. Just got one for my dad. Get it!

This flashlight is great for Everyday Carry. It is very bright but can still be dimmed down to protect your eyesight. The magnetic bottom is great as well if you are doing any work under the hood of your car or putting together a computer. The clip is also great to attach to a hat or to your shirt for hands free use.

Olight never disappoints. Picked this one up on sale and was worth every penny. Good for EDC or just to have readily available when the power goes out. I recommend this light and many others on the olight line up.

These are so nice like a quality tool should be. More like a fine lighting instrument than a flashlight. I bought one for myself, Wife, Mom and Dad.Comes with a magnetic charger stand and cord. There's also a version that's the same LED but has a self charging case, very cool. The case will give several charges. I'm using that version too. We use it to charge both lights when needed.

I've carried this light pretty much all day every day for several months now.I use it often but haven't had to recharge it yet.Yes, I do take care of it and not carry it in same pocket as keys or change, etcVery happy with itA very useful tool, just like a pocket knife, for someone like me
