So with the cost of energy going up I thought 'great, solar powered lights will do the job' but sadly it didn't last long...They were well packed when they arrived, easy to unravel ( yes they are all wrapped up in individual strands so you just have to be patient and do a strand at a time) and easy to hang. The day I put them up it was a lovely sunny day so the battery charged great. They came on on their own when it got dark and twinkled away until they ran out if battery I'm guessing ( I just left them on to do their thing) . As the days went on it was a bit hit and miss whether they worked or not....the battery pack doesn't seem powerful enough to run them, if it's not a bright and clear sky day it just doesn't charge. Being winter the weather is all over the place so some days they charged enough to work and others they just wouldn't come on at all :( . Tried the timer and different settings but made no difference.As they are solar there is no other way to charge them sadly so if the sun isn't out then they are probably not going to charge to twinkle the night away.While taking them down I noticed some of the strands had started goind a rusty brown colour...looks like rain had got into some of the strands and started corroding them so wouldn't trust them to work again after being packed away for 11 months. They hadn't been up that long, a max of 4 weeks and sadly they were not as successful as I'd hoped.Will keep an eye out for some others as in the end I returned these.

Having bought 2 sets of these i feel ripped off as they weren't cheap.They don't charge well.The remotes are utterly useless and don't work unless your right infront of it.

Went solar powered and the result was great. No electric and lights were really bright. Easy to hang. Gave the effect required

Absolutely rubbish product that does not work. Instructions are pretty poor but lights are pretty self-explanatory and despite charging them for over 2 weeks on my balcony now – no lights are working. Do not waste your money on this cheap substandard product.

Nice idea but the lights are quite dim and started to rust within two weeks of having them.

After spending time to install the lights in this cold weather, I’ve seen few lights didn’t work and found out the cable is broken. Frustrating! Please perform a quality check prior sending goods to clients.

Absolutely useless. Only works when solar panel is upside down. Now ive got to sort a return. Waste of my time.
