EasyCurvSander 12

This is a good sander for uneven surfaces, battery life is good, sanding pads are expensive for there size but do last.only gripe is the battery is 12v but not the pro version so you need to carry two chargers.It's compact and well balanced in use, the parts that move are not well made and will not last for pro use.Comes with sanding and polishing discs (9 in total).I like it but it's limited use makes it expensive.

Not much use as yet but when i have used it was easy to swap sanding discs and to remove pads when required. will update when i have had time to form an opinion

Unlike others, I found this little machine holds its charge very well and lasts a long time. The rotating pads are fairly effective, but I'd like it if they removed a bit more wood. The machine would probably work better if it was chorded, with a more powerful motor so that you could apply more pressure. It's an unusual rotating action for me - a bit like Phillips rotating heads on their electric shavers. I found handling it felt a bit awkward as if the machine had a mind of its own. It's probably something I need to get used to.

Bought this without a 12V battery as we have lots of Bosch power tools and Bosch say the batteries are ALL compatible.Except they're NOT!I have posted 2 photos from different angles. The one on the left is our 12V drill etc battery. The one on the right is the 12V one which fits this Bosch EasyCurv Sander 12. Although it has the same fitting at the connecting end, the grip is smaller, has a different fitting shape at the sides and won't fit the sander. It has a different part number too!I returned this item and bought the one with a battery included, which does the job it's supposed to do, and works fine.The bottom line is don't expect a previously purchased battery to fit, cos it probably won't, despite how Bosch advertise it!

Purchased the item simply because I thought the battery I had was compatible with this tool. Later realized that it works only using another type of 12 volt battery which was not mentioned or recommended in the product description. I ended up with a tool with no battery. I had to purchase the correct battery separately. Wasted alot of time.

Brought to use on my boat, thought 2 battery’s would be great. The battery last 7 minutes on a charge, the sander is not great at sanding either. Don’t waste your money

Also warum 90% ? Ich habe den Schleifer an einem Stuhl ,exakt wie im ersten Pressefoto, getestet. so ein dampfgebogner Cafe Stuhl von früher. Die innere Biegung lässt sich mit sehr sehr viel Gefühl durchaus gut bearbeiten . Es bleiben aber trotzdem noch Stellen die nicht 100% erreichbar sind , und gleichwertig abgeschliffen werden. Da ist dann doch viel Übung und Gefühl notwendig. Die äussere Biegung ist kein Problem, tolles Ergebnis.Trotzdem ist das natürlich um längen besser und einfacher als mit einem herkömmlichen Schleifer oder per Hand. Aber da sollte er fast noch beweglicher sein. Ist aber Meckern am oberen Rand.Der Abtrag und die Haltbarkeit der Schleifnetze sind überraschend gut. Das hatte ich überhaupt nicht erwartet.Ich bin jetzt noch gespannt ob die Polierfunktion auch gut funktioniert. Das will ich aber lieber bei höheren Temperaturen testen an meinem Kotflügel.Also es wäre bis jetzt eine 4,5 Sterne Bewertung , da er seine Funktion doch sehr gut erreicht. Und ich gebe 5 Sterne da 4 eben unfair wäre. Für ein Heimwerker Produkt finde ich es sehr gut und sehr interessant.Falls sich jemand wundert beim ersten Test: der klingt schon ein bisschen kreischig, das ist normal.

Mittelmäßige Preis Leistung,eher etwas zu teuer.Es gibt günstigere Verkaufsangebote.

Die Beschreibung ist irreführend und es geht nicht hervor, dass kein Akku dabei ist.Ohne Akku unbrauchbar. Es ist auch nicht einfach hier einen passenden Akku zu finden und nachzubestellen.

Eigentlich eine tolle Idee. Aber dee Akku ist zum Schleifen odee Polieren viel zu schwach.Bittw einmal in 12 odee besser 18 Volt bauen.
