Edward Hopper: Nighthawks 1000-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Pretty well said it all in the title. Good quality pieces, looks great when finished (I love Edward Hopper paintings!). A challenge from as a puzzle too.

I am enjoying this jigsaw but it is not for the faint hearted. I am about two thirds complete and the remaining dark pieces only have very subtle differences as per the photos. Overall the puzzle is well made and pieces fit together well. Unusual piece of art for a jigsaw but hats off to pomegranate for making it. Good puzzle.

Nighthawks is a favourite art work of many and taking the time to go through the puzzle highlighted so much of the work, I'd not noticed before. The puzzle is well made as well with very little of that dust you often get left in the box. The puzzle took 10 days on and off to complete, with so many dark areas having good light is really necessary to distinguish the difference between pieces.My only disappointment is that for production reasons this image is cropped and misses out the left hand of the original that makes the whole image look more isolated. If they had done that, I'd have it framed.

Decent quality but pieces don't lock together as well as is true of most jigsaws. There are loads of browny/blue and bluey/brown pieces which demand natural light and an absence of colour-blindness to differentiate between them. Nighthawks is however a great picture!
