I was looking for a practical bag for travelling. I usually arrive at the airport carrying a holdall for the cabin with just a few items in it, so I was looking for something to carry just passports, wallet, phone and a book, with a little bit of space left over. I was also looking for something suitable for myself, as an older male to carry. This fits the bill perfectly. Its satchel/briefcase look is ideal for me and I won't feel self conscious carrying it on its first trip next week. As for some other reviews complaining of the smell, well it smelled like leather, which is what I expected. I have applied some neutral leather polish and it has softened and enhanced the look immediately. Very pleased.

I was hesitant on this purchase because the few bad reviews seemed really bad, but then the good reviews were really good. Now that I have received my bag, I’d say that the the product is amazing for the price. 100% leather and the craftsmanship is better than the price I paid for sure. I think those whose posted bad reviews just have extremely high expectations. Sounds to me like they’re expecting this bag to have the quality of a $400-$500 bag.

I like the briefcase. I will use it to hold my 10.4 inch tablet and 3 smartphones + diabetic supplies. The case is well-made for sure. I'm very pleased. The leather is somewhat stiff/thick enabling it to last for a number of years. My review is 100% contrary to the negative reviews I read. After 2 days, there was 0 odor. Even during the first day, the odor was minimal. Also, the stitching is perfect. The color is an attractive deep brown.
