Costs wayyyy less than the OEM and print quality, starting with the initial print all the way to the 35th page (so far) seemed to be just like the OEM cartridge that we had prior to this one. Couldn't tell the difference other than the fact that it saved us a bunch.Over the years, from various sources, I heard this is how the OEM's make their money on printers so what we think is "cheap" or "inexpensive" is actually what these toner cartridges should really cost but, I suppose, after years of getting ripped off, our perspective might be a bit off.

I did not find this helpful. I now know that Iot is better to use ink cartridges made by the same company that made the printer I don’t really understand all that is involved. But since whatever didn’t connect correctly after about two weeks the printer stopped working and made loud noises when I turned it on. Evidently there is shogun rate of failure when using cartridges made by companies other than the companies who make the printer. While I may not be able to prove definitively that this was the cause,when I had to get ink for another printer, I bought the cartridges made by the company that made the printer. Never again!

Bought this in March 2021 and it stopped printing 4 August 2021 on my Brother HL-2140 Laser Printer. I have taken the cartridge out and shaken it, cleaned the back wire and it still doesn't want to print. Total usage is about 200 pages since I put it in. I would not recommend this cartridge! As for value for the money and longevity I rate this as a big fat ZERO

After 50 pages it is still running a bit dirty.

I have printed a couple of hundred pages so far and still going strong. It seems to be a great value for the money.
