Skull Shaver Bald Eagle Smart, Kit

Its awesome. Works very well. The charge usually last for 2 weeks if you shave your head and face every day. cleaning is easy. the only issues are sometimes it smells. If they can make a fully sealed version which can be used in the shower this would be a killer. March 6th 2017 Used this for last 6 months every day. I have used Philips shaver for last 12 years various models (all top end). This one is awesome. I had ordered replacement heads. The one that came the first time was not sharp enough and was pulling at my hair and was painful. But Skull Shaver Guys just sent me a another replacement free of cost. The second one works like a dream. Its smooth and slick. I have my shiny bald head back. Highly recommend this. There customer service is awesome. Skull Shaver YOU ROCK

This product is one of the best investments i have made and getting the complete kit from Amazon at a reduced price was even better. I use it on both my head and face and it works perfectly. The charge sustains itself for the use as I charged it as per instructions and have been using it on and off for ab out three weeks now and have not had to charge it since. The shave is fairly close and not as close as an actual razor but it is great in that it looks that way. My hair grows extremely fast so this is just my experience. When in a hurry you can use it to get by shaving your face.and it is better on your head which it is made for. Versatile and compact, you cannot go wrong with this investment.

The product works as advertised. The shave is not razor smooth but it "looks" smooth and that was my goal. I am however disappointed in the blades. I use the product every other day and have very fine hair so I should be an easy shave. I purchased the washing stand with the shaver and use it religiously as instructed. The device is just over a month old and the blades are already exhibiting a marked decrease in efficiency. They are advertised to last months, not a month. I'm not happy with the blade life. An update. It lasted 7 months and just stopped mid shave. The battery won't hold an charge and can't be replaced. Sorry I need this to last longer than 7 months. That's just unacceptable product life.

Quick, easy glide, relatively smooth shave (not as close as a blade or my foil). I like the curved feature of the blades. They track the contours of head and face nicely. Some pull if I let beard go more than a day-but warned of this in product literature. Have found it is much better with foam. i like design as it fits hand nicely. Easy to rinse. Full charge took me through a week. Only about a week in. should get better as skin gets conditioned. Will use on a daily basis and use foil or blade if I need an extra clean and close shave. Overall a nice product. Five stars if they get RPMS up and a closer shave.

I bought this June, 2016. While it was functionally I found its usage helpful in keeping a bald appearance. If your hair gets too long it is useless but as a maintenance tool it worked well. If you strive for that smooth against the grain feel it will disappointment. If that doesn't matter to you and you just want to keep up the look it works well. For me I used it about every other day and only shaved once every few weeks. It has now gotten to where it will only run for about 30 seconds before shutting down. Given it is well past the 1 year warranty I decided to take it apart to see what is up. With the way it was acting it seemed like it had dropped a cell so I was thinking of just replacing the battery pack but upon opening it up I found it only uses a single cell for its power. The battery is a ICR 18500 1400 mAh 3.7v. Measuring the voltage on the battery at a point where the unit wouldn't turn on I got 4.16v. This is essentially a full charge; completely full charge would be 4.2v. I'm forced to assume that, most likely, the motor is what is dying. I'm undecided if I will get another unit or if I will try a different product but my other shavers from other brands have lasted significantly longer thus far and I'm not interested in spending 100+ every year to replace a shaver.

** UPDATE 5/26/17 ** Today my Skull Shaver is no longer functioning properly. The LCD display stopped working and the unit is cycling the motor on and off when charging - I suspect a faulty charging circuit. Contacted customer service for an exchange. I have downgraded my rating to 2 stars because I am certain that the next unit will also fail me. I will then be out of warranty, and out of luck! The unit, when working, does a great job. It is a shame the company is not able to produce a more robust unit. Excited to have found a product that shaves my head closely and is convenient to use. In the 2 weeks of use it has proven to shave almost as close as a razor with none of the irritation or inconvenience that comes with blade shaving. Unfortunately, this is the part of the review where the accolades stop. The power plug (female) has a male prong attached, and the main shave unit is now missing a prong (refer to pictures attached to this review). I will not delve into the minutia of my interactions with Skull Shaver as a corporation except to say that customer service was amateurish at best. I advise readers to deal with Amazon should an issue arise with their purchase. Full disclosure: I did return the defective unit to Amazon and immediately ordered another unit with hopes that the product does not suffer similar issues.

Really like this thing. I used to use a razor everyday, which was time consuming and annoying. This is quick and works flawlessly. Of course it doesn't get as close as a razor or other very expensive electric razors, but this gets the job done well in my opinion. I use it everyday to keep a relatively close shave. Battery lasts a long time (I maybe go 2-3 weeks before charging). The stand is very useful for drying the shaver after I rinse it. Case is high quality. I love that it can be used in both dry and wet shaving. I really hope this business continues to thrive, so I can keep buying replacement razors when the time comes.

C'est la deuxième version du Bald Eagle très populaire aux Etats-Unis, plus de 1200 commentaires sur Amazon.com. J'adore la prise en main de ce rasoir, bien plus confortable que les classiques, sans compter qu'il a 90 minutes d'autonomie avec une batterie au lithium, c'est à dire une batterie qui ne perd pas sa charge si on ne s'en sert pas pendant un moment, par exemple quand on se laisse pousser une queue de cheval ... Très léger et doux avec la peau, il est utilisable avec ou sans mousse, se rince dans l'eau et reste du coup toujours propre. La charge se fait à l'aide d'une alim 5v 1A qui aurait pû être en micro USB, mais ça reste un connecteur propriétaire, dommage, pour la prochaine évolution j'espère. Il marche bien sur le visage aussi, le contour des oreiles est assez bon et il arrive à couper proprement sous le nez. Alors oui, il n'est pas donné, mais il est bien plus innovant que les haut de gamme Braun actuels qui eux dépassent les 200€, et spécialement conçu pour les boulazéro ce qui n'a pas de prix. Bonne finition malgré le pays d'origine, pourvu qu'il dure parce qu'il va servir! MAJ au 30 janvier 2017: Le Bald Eagle ronronne toujours parfaitement avec sa tête de coupe d'origine. Je ne me rase que tous les 3 à 4 jours et la batterie tient du coup vraiment longtemps, à peine une charge par mois. Divers trempages accidentels n'ont pas non plus entamé la bonne santé de la bête, je reste conquis.

L'appareil tient bien dans la main et on apprend rapidement à s'en servir, mais malgré le nombre de têtes de rasage l'opération est longue et demande beaucoup de passage, ce qui irrite bien la peau, même en utilisant de la mousse. Celle-ci fait bien glisser mais semble fatiguer le moteur. Facile à laver sinon, on le fait tourner à vide dans de l'eau.

Même si sa forme le destine plus particulièrement aux adeptes de la boule à zéro, ce rasoir convient parfaitement pour se rasez la barbe. Dans cet exercice, il se révèle aussi bon (ou, du moins, pas plus mauvais...) que les rasoirs à lames rotatives classiques (type Philips). En clair : moins bien, à mon avis, que les systèmes à vibreurs (type Braun) et, de toute façon, très loin de la qualité de rasage d'un rasoir manuel du genre Gilette Fusion Proglide. En revanche, il est vrai que, pour le prix, la qualité de présentation du Skull Shaver est un peu limite.
