I had a great customer service experience with Mission Meats. I had placed an order, and it didn’t arrive as expected. I waited a few days, checked in with our complex’s package acceptance center, and still nothing. Reached out to the seller and Troy immediately sent out a replacement. When the first package finally did show up, I reached out to let them know and to offer to pay for the first order, and instead of charging me they gave it to me on the house. This doesn’t feel like a regular occurrence with any company, so I was pleased to say the least. Big FYI though - be sure of what you’re ordering here. We love these meat sticks in our house - they’re great keto snacks and they don’t have that overly processed taste of other brands. I say be sure of what you’re ordering because we have ordered these several times, and always got standard sized sticks. The last order somehow defaulted to “kid sized” and the sticks are at the MOST half the size of the apparently adult version. I took a star off for portion size only because I ordered direct from my prior purchases so was surprised to see the sticks be so small for what seemed like an adult sized price. This very well could have been user error, but don’t make the same mistake I did. Unless you want tiny baby meat sticks 😂

I have ordered the Tasty Original several times now and am very happy with the product and the seller. They are yummy sticks. There are no preservatives so there is a risk of spoilage if the vacuum packing is compromised. After hundreds of these I did actually get a bad batch that contained moldy sticks. They were not tightly vacuum packed / sealed and the customer happiness rep confirmed that when that happens there is a chance mold will develop (because they use no preservatives). I sent pics and he immediately offered to replace the bad product. So don't freak out if this happens to you. (I see some reviews where people are equating this to some major catastrophe!) Just contact Mission Meats (via marketplace / vendor contact) and they'll stand by their product and make things right. It's a great product and I experienced great customer service from them — you likely will, too!

I am not usually inspired to post reviews, but I had to leave one for such a great product. I bought these to include in some gift boxes we were putting together that were specific to Paleo and Whole30 diets - my 5 year old asked to try one when they arrived and he proceeded to eat three in a row and asks for these on a daily basis - and let me tell you, he might be a primal baby, but he is not a big eater by any means. These are delicious, just the right balance of spice, mild enough for a 5 year old but flavorful enough for his grisly old mother! Great job Mission Meats.

Tastes great, but it's very salty -- to the point where I had to guzzle a liter of water after eating one stick. The meat itself was great, and the portion size is adequate. Again, it's a great beefstick overall, but it would be better if they cut back on the sodium content.

Sometimes you get a good one. Sometimes you get a moldy one. Sometimes you get one that smells rotten. Sometimes you get one that smells fine but tastes rancid. Sometimes you get one that tastes fine until you get to the last bite. I think the problem lies with the method of storage and transportation rather than the product itself. I often notice quality issues with food items purchased from Amazon. I would recommend buying this product from a different retailer.

I love them, my girlfriend won’t eat them. She is used to the typical store bought ones that have all the fat and chemicals in them. Don’t get me wrong, these are most definitely NOT like snapping into a Slim *im but to me taste even better. They are seasoned perfectly and if you set one on a napkin, you won’t see a ring of oily residue left behind. I shared these at work and everyone liked them. In fact we will be ordering more to place in our small snack bar at work after a show of hands on who would buy them.

Product that was properly sealed (4 stars) - the 1 star is for the 2 sticks in a package that definitely seemed to be improperly sealed. I ordered two "bundles" of these pepperoni sticks and put both into a cupboard in the kitchen. I opened one of the bags and have been eating those pepperoni sticks and enjoying them. However, after several weeks we began to notice a smell in the cupboard. After going through everything in the cupboard today we found that the unopened bag of the product had a couple of "rotting" pieces of meat in them with some sort of bug eggs etc. I have since separated all the meats and had to remove the eggs from the meat that still looked ok and wash the packaging. While it's definitely possible that some sort of fly got into the cupboard and laid the eggs on this end - it only happened because there were several pieces of meat that began to rot due to them being improperly sealed in my opinion. You can see the side of the rotten piece of meat in one of the images I've attached - the seal is simply not closed and that is where the flies got into. I enjoy the meat and have been looking for a healthier option to go with but I'm definitely not happy about the quality control (or lack thereof) that seems to be the case with the sealing of the individual packages.

This was the most moist and flavorful meat stick I’ve ever eaten. They are absolutely addicting. I love how they fit into my sugar free keto lifestyle. Would definitely recommend will buy again
