Would strongly recommend these bowls in general, however in our situation they also kept our sweet angel safe and helped him through health issues including vestibular, vertigo and strokes! We were looking everywhere for soft bowls, as our dog was aging (18 ½) and having difficulties with balance & walking and we needed items to help with his recoveries. These soft yet functional bowls were the answer, protecting him from falling into or banging himself into hard items that could seriously hurt him, such as the food dishes. These along with lots of padding & mats helped tremendously! Thank you.

I bought this for traveling (not for a pet) - I had the smaller bowl which was also good but I needed a larger bowl. You can fold and squash this up to fill in any small space in your bag and everytime it will regain its shape. I use it for hot soups, oatmeal, etc without any leaks, tears or cracks. I have not tried microwaving so I don't know if it would melt down but there's absolutely no problem putting boiling liquids in it. I would certainly buy this again but it is so durable I don't think I'll need another one anytime soon!

This bowl is great if you're looking for a pet food bowl that doesn't make noise when your pet is digging in and it moves around. The only thing I'd change is that the shape is such that sometimes my cats can't fully get all the food out from the corners. But I do like it a lot compared to what else is out there and am considering getting another one.

As dog food bowls they scoot all over the floor as they are so light weight. Wouldn’t buy again as a dog food bowl.But as a container for personal human use they work good.

I purchased this, along with several others, for feeding my dogs. Its flexibility is great for holding odd shaped pieces such as turkey necks. The largest dog gets 17.5 oz. of meat and this bowl contains it with some room to spare. There is enough rigidity to allow me to carry them stacked. The dogs have no problem getting all the food out of them. Washing them is a little tricky. They have to be loaded in the dishwasher completely horizontally to allow the water to drain out of them. They clean up easily by hand as well.

Perfect squishy bowl for my miniature pinscher. Travels well and will go in my 72-hr kitUPDATE: 12/6/14: I love this little bowl but after a few weeks of using it for my dog, she really didn't like it at all. I used it mainly for her water and was sure to wash it out every day in warm water and soap (I did notice mold if I only rinsed it out with hot water), but she simply doesn't like it. I've since swapped it out for her stainless steel bowl for her water and bought a LunchBots Uno for her food.

PROS:*Flexible, so you can jam it into a relatively small or awkwardly shaped space*When not squashed, the bowl regains its shape quickly and uniformly*Holds water/food well, with edges that have a good level of firmness*Silicon material is easy to clean and dries off pretty quickly (claims to be dishwasher safe and I believe them since it's silicon, but it's so easy to hand-wash that I don't bother)CONS:***** MADE IN CHINA: NOT made in the USA--- despite the product description claiming that it is "Made in the USA," the bottom of the bowl is marked "Designed in Deer Isle, Maine, Made in China" ******Not easily moved while there's water in it, since the silicon is so flexible*Despite being squishable, it still takes up more space than a lot of travel pet bowlsNote: I have made this review 1 star because it is made in china and advertised as made in the USA. With all of the hazardous products coming from China recently, I do not trust the safety of this product (for people OR animals). Since they have no problem putting toxic materials into pet food and baby food, it stands to reason that they would have no problem putting it into a food-holding container. If this product was truly made in the USA, my review would be 4 stars.
