Hickok 48165 Universal Digital Pressure Gauge with Remote Readout

I gave this product 3 stars because it works, The deduction of 2 stars is because of 2 major issues I have with this product.The first problem is that is advertised as an all aluminum body, It is not, It is plastic, Even the battery cover on the back looks like it belongs on a 5 dollar chinese toy. When I called the company, They said the product has been made of plastic for at least the 3 years the person I talked has worked there, Despite the fact that the cardboard product description that was shrinkwrapped to the case stating an all aluminum housing. Answer from the employee was that I must have got an older product before they stopped advertising the aluminum housing, Really, Amazons description still says all aluminum housing.Second problem is another biggie, Product claims to work with most other common fuel fittings. Wrong, I have been a professional auto technician for 20 years, I own hundreds of dollars worth of fuel fitting adapters to work on most vehicles made over the last 20 years, Not a single fitting or adapter that I own, and I consider what I have to be the industry standard since everything I own had worked fine with my coworkers gauges and quick connectors,Out of everything I have, Not a single one fits the quick connector on this product.If you intend to buy this product and have it work with any Snapon, Matco or other industry standard fittings, You are going to have to do what I did, Get your Snap on dealer to order you the correct female quick coupler to make use of all your fittings and adapters other than the standard GM and ford schraeder valve fittings.
