Clip-on tie hardware/clip 10 pack

Q: Will this be the right side for a boy?

I used it for ties I made for my boys ages 8 and 5. The 8 yr old wears a boys size medium or 7/8. To give an idea of size, and the 5 yr old wears a boys size small or 5/6.

Q: What type of plastic is used? The best glue I can find which allows 5 minutes to reposition is "Loctite Go 2 Glue" but it won't work on: PE, PP, ABS

No glue required, just a little stitch on the back. There's a video on YouTube that shows how to wrap the tie around the plastic.

Q: How do I reassemble my sons' clipon tie?

There is a you tube video that shows you how to make a clip on tie out of a regular necktie, but I'm not sure how to reassemble a clip on that's fallen apart.

Q: What is the little ring for?

After you attach the tie,the ring is tapped down on the plastic post on the back of the clip to hold the fabric in place.However, I have had to stitch the fabric closed around the ring before tapping it in place.
