This works pretty well on my sony headphone.
The sounds quality is similar to the original cable, the mic works well, and the cable quality seems to be more durable than the original one too.

Don't buy.... Honestly get what you pay for this round
This is a cheap product. Very thin I haven't seen a wire this thin in years. I assure you soon as I drop my ps4 controller the wire will have a shortage. Really want to return it but I'll make it work or throw it away. Also it's not even long enough for you to put your phone in your pocket....... Complete lost of money

It works on Sony WH-1000mx4.
This is what I have been looking for. Apparently a lot of the headphone cables didn't work on the Sony MX's either because the cable was not supported or it did not fit in the jack. I found a review for this cable that said it was compatible with these headphones and I purchased them to find out for myself. And Yes, they actually work on the WH-1000MX4 :). I am happy with these products. They work fine, and the quality is perfect for how much you pay for them.

It stopped working after 6 days...
I'm just flabbergasted at the moment. They day the cord arrived, I was very happy and excited to have a new cord because I really needed one. The moment of truth came when it was time for me to plug it into my computer and check the quality of it. To my delight, they were pleasant and the sound quality was in perfect condition. I was overjoyed. Then... six days later, I'm using the cord like usual. Nothing out of the ordinary... yet. I unplug it and decide to use my headphones in the Bluetooth setting instead. Then, hours later when I wanted to use the cord to hook it up to my Xbox controller, there was no sound. I was baffled because the cord was just working hours before with no complications at that. I ignore it and just assume its my controller being annoying because it acts up sometimes, until I test it out on my computer later on. The same one it was working for earlier that day. No sound. Then I realized the cord actually stopped working. I checked Amazon for the date the product arrived and realized it had been less than a week before it stopped working. Very sad because it really was a nice nice cord with good quality :/ Since there are better ratings, I'm just going to assume either something happened to my cord that I wasn't aware of during these 6 days, or something happened to my package on the way to my house. Purchase at your own risk; it's a gamble 🤷🏾‍♀️

I REALLY wanted these to work
I really wanted these to work. It’s my 4th set. The ones that lasted he longest was about 2 1/2 months. The others lasted for less than a month. I kept hoping that I was only getting some that were defective, but after 4 of these, and all of them having the same issue of the sound blipping in and out. The wires connecting just aren’t durable and kept disconnecting. I’m in no way active and I use these only while I’m sitting in my chair, so it’s not like the wires could have come loose by an active lifestyle. These have all the features I wanted… but they are in no way durable. I’m done in having these replaced and will now look for something else of some quality.

Make the Sony WH-1000XM4 better for Zoom calls and Computer Gaming
Bluetooth noise canceling headphones like the Sony WH 1000-XM4 are not optimal for computer audio, because:1) Bluetooth connection quality is inferior on PCs compared to cell phones (partially due to poor antenna optimization/environment).2) Bluetooth sound quality is inferior on PCs compared to cell phones (partially due to reduced codec control and ODM tuning/configuration apps being mobile-exclusive).3) The latency through a Bluetooth connection can be disadvantage for gamers compared to wired connection or proprietary frequencies in gaming headsets.4) The voice mic on the headphones is not well-positioned for voice clarity.5) The headphone mic doesn't work with a wired connection (the primary reason for this product)These are the reasons, and the low cost are the reasons why I purchased the Cubilux headphone cable with mic. The primary alternative I considered was a cable with an inline boom mic. Although this option won't have quite as good of voice quality, it is much less expensive and more discrete. This cable had a clear problem to solve: the default cable with the Sony WH 1000-XM4 doesn't support voice audio. This cable solved the problem and even added a few nice features. What I like: 1) the braided cable has a premium feel (even compared to Sony's own cable), 2) the in-line mic includes physical buttons for volume, play/pause, hold for phone assistant (although I don't use this for my phone) 3) audio quality is much improved on my PC, 4) my voice quality is improved on calls and in games. What I don't like: 1) the physical buttons don't work on my PC, 2) I can't move around with the short cable (same length as cable that ships with the Sony headphones).
