This is my favorite chest protector. It feels like it gives good protection while still being very lightweight and comfortable.

I bought one of these vests for each of my Grandsons. They love them. My daughter says they are going to use them for snowmobiling this winter too.

Super light. Comfortable. Seems like a quality piece. Didn't want something that was going to be hotter then necessary in the summer woods. I tried the full protected armored suits but they are hot and a PITA. I have a pair of elbow guards I wear with this and it provides good upper protection for the how I ride rocky rooty trails in New England.
