I purchased this and then decided to go to a hair loss specialist to see what they woild recommend for me. Turns out the doctors sells these to patients, but only thw one with82 laswr lights. He recommended that I use this product with Rogaine. Well, I've been using both with two Capillus treatments per day for three weeks. My hair has stopped falling out. It woll take 3 to 6 months to notice hair growth. I've taken it through airport securo9on two separate trips and I have never been stopped and questioned about it to my surprise. I received an amazing price break on my purchase at Amazon around Prime Day. I'm so glad I purchased it. I'll update my review in 6 months but after talking with a physician who told me it really works in patients that are in the beginning stages of losing hair like myself, I am confident that it will help me. Also, I'm an African American and it dies work for us as well. I also confirmed that with the company who said I should use it for two six-minute session s per day for African Americans. It's expensive but we'll worth the price to keep my hair as I age. I would not recommend putting this in checked luggage when flying. The battery pack cannot go in checked luggage for safety reasons. Please carry it with you on the plane or STA will throw it away if it's in your checked bag.

The cap worked fine for a few months and my hair grew. Unfortunately, the battery pack stopped working and I tried to get it repaired or replaced. The manufacturer has a NO REFUND or EXCHANGE policy after 30 days and there is no repair shop. I could not even get the Capillus customer service to return my calls, emails, or chats. BEWARE before you spend $1,000+ on this manufacturer. You should buy from another brand that will back its product.

My hair has thinned out since I have had japanese thermal conditioning and have colored my hair for over 15 years. I stopped doing both over six months ago in a quest to make my hair healthy. I'd like to see it thicker as well. It's supposed to take over a year of using this laser treatment six minutes a day before seeing a major difference. If I do or if I don't, I will return to change my review. Also, my husband has mail patterned baldness. If he starts any hair regrowth sooner, I'll be back sooner as well.

I bought this product for my mother about 13 months ago. She has faithfully, and even religiously used it every day as prescribed. I don't really believe it has worked for her. It's such a shame because it was a lot of money for this product.
