I really enjoyed reading this book. The storyline was great and I liked the characters.Sondra was a great character. I felt she was very down to earth, especially when Nico and Sondra first met.Nico was great. Considering his family, he was actually quite decent. I loved seeing him fall for Sondra. They had a very clear spark between them and she was good for him. I loved watching their relationship develop to the point that he was willing to give up everything for her. The ending was great.Overall, I would definitely recommend this book. The characters and storyline were great.Jessreviews.co.uk

A good read if a bit short, but at least there wasn’t any boring pages. I like this book but I don’t think Mafia men are that soft. What made me like the soft is because don’t we all want a bad boy to the outside world, a softy to their woman? So maybe not 100% believeable but Nico is the Mafia man we all want. Right?

Really enjoyed this. Can’t wait to read the next books in the series.

Sondra is a housekeeper in a top Vegas casino but dresses so that she will be noticed and hopefully be able to work the tables like her sister Corey. Following a change in her shifts, she meets the casino boss, Nico, who doesn't at first believe she is a housekeeper. He finds that this is true and makes sure she is the only one who cleans his room and the story develops from there.When I started reading this book, I found that the sex scenes were boring if only because of there sheer frequency. This made the story completely unbelievable and I nearly gave up on the book and this has caused me to mark the book down as average. However, I did like how the story eventually developed to exploree Nico's relationship and his interactions with those around him.

Sondra has never had much luck with boyfriends she always seems to choose ones that cheat on her ,that’s definitely so after kicking her present boyfriend into touch after she caught him cheating on her . Heartbroken she heads to Las Vegas to stay with her cousin Corey . Corey works as a croupier in the Bellissimo hotel which is owned by Mafia boss Nico Tacoma . Although she has her MSc until she can get some money together quickly ,Sondra gets a job as a maid at the Bellissimo . When Sondra’s boss Marissa has to fill in for a sick college to clean the Boss’ suites Sondra offers to help her . Although everyone that cleans those rooms must adhere to strict rules and have to pass a background check before they’re allowed too , Marissa agrees to Sondra helping out but gives her a warning of how to act when she’s in the suites . A sudden emergency at home sees Marissa having to leave Sondra to finish the work on her own .......Nico Tacoma came to Las Vegas as he wanted to get away from Chicago and all the violence that was associated with his Mafia family .His father is the Don ,is now residing in prison but is still able to control the family , he bankrolled Nico’s business venture in the hotel ,but Nico was definitely the boss of his Vegas empire . After being left alone Sondra continues do what she’s supposed to , but she’s stopped in her tracks by the appearance of Nico who is very wary of her as he’s never seen her before . Thinking she’s up to no good he’s quite aggressive towards her thankfully his opinion is changed when he realises she’s who she says she is . Things move quite quickly between the pair and soon things are getting extremely hot and steamy and their relationship developes very quickly but is the live bubble about to burst as it would seem though that Nico’s father and the head of another Mafia family made an agreement years ago that would see Nico and the Jenna who’s the daughter of the other family marry it would also mean the two families joining forces ..............luckily for Nico Jenna has no interest in getting married to him ,but what happens when Nico’s father finds out can there be a HEA for Sondra & Nico ? ❤️❤️😉

First book in the series and this one is based on the mafia. It includes one very hot alpha mafia king and a shy quiet heroine. The story had perfect flow and was engrossing, a heap of characters thrown in to open up for other books which I look forward to reading.

This is an excellent book. Renee Rose tells a good story. Sondra is working as a cleaner in the Casino's hotel rooms, while she waits for a job to become a dealer like her cousin Corey, she's also staying with her while getting some money together. 4 people go off sick and she offers to do the 3 suites on the top floor for her supervisor Marissa. She dosn't have clearance, these are the the bosses suites, the Tacones. Instead Marissa let's her go with her so they get done quicker. They're making a start on the 2nd one when Marissa has to go, Sondra will finish this suite then leave. She's finished the bedroom and just going to do the bathroom when she hears voices, Nico has arrived home. He is beyond tired not having slept for 2 days and goes ballistic when he sees her, demanding to know what's she's doing there, was she bugging the place. He strip searches her, she's terrified, then he points his gun at her head. Such a good book, there is a book 2 coming Mafia Daddy, available for pre order in an anthology Daddy's Demands, then another in September Jack of Spades, not yet available. Love a mafia book and this did not disappoint it had everything about this.Characters are great loved reading about them.Sondra wanted to meet the mafia and she did meet Nico scared her but after that incident he goes after Sondra and made her his.

Nonstop attention grabbing story from beginning to end. the aggressive dominating possessive ego was deliciously attractive. I truly enjoyed this story.

Great story. Heart pounding sex scenes. A glimpse at what a missing piece can do when found. And a flicker of hope for all of us that love the bad boys we know we shouldn't.

Where to even start actually? The book started off really well and then I completely lost interest when he stripped her and she found it hot? The heroine continuously says she's wired the wrong way, which kind of justifies her earlier reaction but still it was violation on his part. The book title says Mafia , but there's not much to that. I found the writing of this book to be kinda Juvenile. I'd try and read the other books though.

This story was ok, not very dark even if there is a bit of domination and spanking stuff. But Nico really cares for Sondra and takes care of her. He is a big softie actually. Sondra is kind of pure. Her heart is always in the right place.I enjoyed reading their story, although there was any real suspense. There is very little interaction between Sondra and Nico's men/ family. We don't feel any danger from either Nico or his brothers. And I was very disappointed with the scene with Sondra, Nico and his older brother and even more with the last scene with Sondra and Nico.I was like " What?! That's it?" The next chapter revolves around another character Alex.That's why I give this book 3 stars. This is the first book I read by this author. But I don't know if I am going to read another one if the ending is also rushed like that.
