Wasn't even assembled
When the package arrived the bag rattled. Once I opened it I found it was nothing but a bag of parts thrown into a zip lock baggie. In order to use it I needed to assemble the product from the included parts. I understood I was purchasing a complete project not a do it yourself assembly project. Hopefully it will perform okay now that it is put together.

250 amps not 500 amps
The item description indicates that this is a 500 amp bus bar. It is not. According to the manufacturer’s website it is only 250 amps.

Cheap plastic framework
Cheap plastic frame sent with a bag of bolts washers and nuts with no instructions. For the $34 price tag, and sold under the name of Victron, this is substandard and is certainly NOT rated for 500 amps! The clear plastic cover is thin and won't last. The stud bolts were 1" long, they should have been 1 1/4" to allow room for wire ring terminals. The included busbar whould have been lomng enough to accommodate all 6 studs. As Grampa said, "you can always cut it shorter but not longer!" I'd have to spend another 20 bucks to fix all the short comings of this item. being returned to amazon.

Not what I expect from Victron.
This definitely isn’t a Victron product.Like others mentioned: Cheaply made flimsy plastic base with a bag of steel bolts. Buss bar doesn’t even fit without me cutting out a little plastic. I’d return it if I wasn’t in a pinch for it today. I’ll be replacing it with something else soon.

Assembly Required
Made of lightweight plastic. Came to me as the plastic case and a bag of nuts, bolts and washers. Seems to be short a few washers. It does function fine once assembled, but for the price I was expecting something a bit more sturdy and ready to go out of the box. The product is stamped "Young Man" and came in an unbranded box, so I don't believe it's a Victron product.
