Usually if a product is BPA free it will state it on the box in plain view.

Q: What is the dimension of these trays?

Each tray is about 8" diameter and 2 1/4" tall. With the cover, it's about 9" diameter. There are 3 trays and 4 covers-- the extra one serves as a base #so you don't get water on the counter!#. They work great!

Q: Where is it made? what is the number of the plastic from which the trays are made of? Also, is it plastic recycled?

U.S.A. No number, it says food grade polypropylene resin on the box. Look online at handypantry.com in Springville, Ut

Q: Can you grow sunflower sprouts in this sprouter?

I have never spouted sunflower seeds but I have tried a wide variety of other seeds. All sprouted well. Without any direct experience I would say that if it can be sprouted the Spout Garden will spout them.
