Don’t be late
The nesightion talking clock extra large has been a game changer for my blind father in-law. With its large size it’s very easy to use and super easy to find when your sight is compromised. It works very clear when listening to the response after pushing the button. The talking alarm clock tells the time of the day which is the reason for purchasing this product. The volume has been spot on and very clear to hear. We love the design seems to just fit right in with his decor. No more getting up late.

Easy to use
Bought this for my elderly father who suffers from glaucoma and macular degeneration. He can't read all of the details on the multi-function clocks for elderly and those with mild dementia so this easy to use gizmo is just the thing! It is large enough to easily locate and although he can't really see the color, i did get the yellow one to hopefully make it stand out. The main drawback is that the voice sounds awkwardly automated and takes a bit to understand. You also have to push the button twice, once for time, then again for day/date. I sometimes have to remind dad to push the button again to get all of the info. If you wait too long it will just repeat the first information.

Not loud enough. Voice is not clear enough and in a foreign accent.
My hard of hearing parents had to hold the clock to their ears and strain to hear the voice. Not worth it. The sound was scratchy and had and accented English.

How do you adjust the volume?
I only gave it a 3 star rating because the volume is so loud it garbles the voice. Does anyone know how to turn it down?
