Great Price
I had one camera go out. Next day, the other cameras started having problems then all went black. Tried for several days to run down problem, even purchased new DVR. Finally I plugged in the new adapter that came with the new DVR and three cameras worked. I changed the first camera that went out and whalla! It works, too. I purchased this adapter for a spare and have no doubt that it will work fine if another fails. We live on the coast, so I have had issues with wiring outside before.

Great power supply
I purchased it, in order to power up some unusually powerful CCTV cameras. Regular 12v DC 500ma power supplies wouldn't cut it. These are larger, vari-focal, IR domes, that draw more / need more power, during night vision operation. Because I had three on the same chain, (In-line location), I got it with the 4 way adapter. Powering all three up. @ 2.5 amps, the cameras each draw around 700ma a piece. Had I powered up 4 cameras, I would have gotten the 3 amp version, just to be on the safe side. Although the balance of the cameras are powered by a 16 channel 12v DC power supply. (In a box) Those cameras are smaller IR domes, with fixed lenses, and only draw the usual 300ma to 500ma. In any case, I am completely satisfied. Those of you thinking that these cameras are bad, my just need more power to run them at night, when the IR LEDS kick in. Best remedy for them.
