How do you ship to a correctional facility?

Every state prison has different rules. The one I worked at would not allow packages delivered that were purchased unless they were purchased from the prison-approved vendor and that was only allowed at 4 specified times of year. Before purchasing, check with the prison ( chaplain or warden or counselor) to find out what the rules are for your facility. If it isn't approved, the prison will destroy the package...not good.
