Q: Is this made in China?

No, it is manufactured in Taiwan. Taiwan is definitely not China given that they're a staunch ally of the US and literally at an armed standoff with China, so no one should have any qualms buying this rather thoughtfully designed and well made drain pan. Mine is rather full and heavy after I've drained the oil from the diesel engine in my truck, and it doesn't flex while handling and pouring the used oil into multiple containers for transport to our local recycling center. I'd definitely buy another one if I had the need for it.

Q: How well does it do with splashing?

Used it for oil, trans and diff fluid changes. No splashing. Very pleased with the purchase. Definitely recommend.

Q: How would you recommend cleaning the pan after use??

I wipe it with a few paper towel s after emptying the pan. Can't even tell its been used.
