I had a set of Triumph Expedition panniers I needed to mount and Triumph no longer makes the OEM kit for the 2016. Out of luck basically? This kit will not work for the OEM triumph bags even tho they are made by Givi and I'll mention later how I got it to work. Pretty much bolted right on. The fit at the muffler heat shield could be better (the -1 star) otherwise it mounted up no problem. As for the triumph bags, I had an OEM kit for another bike and took parts off of it. The Givi and Triumph brackets are all most identical except for 1 design change that won't allow them to be used on the other. I swapped the 1 piece from my OEM kit to the Givi kit. The parts are interchangeable between the Givi and OEM Triumph mounting kit. Now I can put the OEM bags on but only because I had an OEM triumph bracket to steal the parts from. If things were different, I'd just have gotten everything from Givi and not OEM triumph as the Givi set up is cheaper and the only difference is the key.
