I wanted an immersion blender to smooth moles. I tried it out making pineapple jalepeno jam. It made a 5-lb (2 quarts cut up) pineapple into fine puree in a matter of minutes. There was no splashing and plenty of power. The top comes off so you can store it in a drawer. Cleans easily. If you're looking for a high quality immersion blender you ought to consider this model. I'm delighted that I made this purchase.

Excellent stick blender at a good price. It's a quality product, very well made, is fantastic for pureeing soups/etc, and with reasonable care it should last many many years (I've had one for years, this purchase is for my son). Also very easy o clean.

Very easy to use and quick cleaning.

Good sturdy immersion blender, the base piece snaps in place and is released with 2 side buttons. Fits in a metal milkshake cup to make smoothies with. Recently made pesto and it ground the leaves, nuts etc into a nice smooth paste. Easy to clean too! I recommend this product.

This thing is cool. I waited forever to replace my old Hamilton Beach, so long that it sat in a drawer half broken, its purpose almost forgotten. Then I saw this shiny new toy on sale, and I suddenly remembered how much I enjoyed the old one back in the day. This one crunches ice, too! It blended up a smoothie in no time, rinsed right off in hot water, and I sure do love how the attachments snap on and off without a hassle. Very satisfied with my purchase! (oh, and I did recycle the old one, no worries!)

This is a far more powerful and an easier to clean upgrade for my 20+-year-old immersion blender. The design of the guard/blade makes blending hot or cold sauces and soups easier, and made perfect mayonnaise. Highly recommended.

I have tried many of the cheaper hand blenders and they all start out doing well and them the motor dies within 6 months or so. This wasn't much more than those "bargain" models and is so much better! It feels more substantial and does a much better job at blending. The feel is good--the handle is easy to grasp and the buttons are well-placed and easy to depress. The two pieces come apart easily and the bottom can be cleaned in the dishwasher. The bell-shaped bottom is very effective in blending more fully. I always had trouble with the others in getting the ingredients near the top to blend with the rest but you can actually see this pulling the ingredients downward to blend better. Yes, it was more expensive than some others (not by much) but I would never go back to one of those, due to durability and blending issues. Would definitely recommend this product.
