It’s a third hand what word do you want or fourth?
So far, I’ve use it to repair my wife’s glasses cause the plastic part broke away for the metal hinge piece now use gorilla glue. It’s gonna be invaluable for other small detail work. I really really like it a lot and it was a good value and the magnifying glass is just right and easy to clamp too many different things.

Well constructed. Some question about the ball material composition.
The housing is sturdy metal construction and the optional non-slip pad with adhesive backing for the bottom is a nice touch. I am a bit concerned about the "copper wire ball made of brass material". Brass and copper are non-ferrous and should be non-magnetic. The cleaning coil sticks to a magnet making me suspect it may contain iron and possibly be abrasive to the solder tip. As a precaution, I replaced it with a brass ball I already had on hand.

Works surprisingly well, great price. No need to spend more money on a name brand one.
Works way better than I initially thought. I have always used a damp soldering iron sponge and a wire brush for years, until my father had me get him one (a Weller) for his birthday one year and I tried it and was amazed that it actually cleaned the tip really well. I bought his when it was on sale and affordable, but of course when I went to buy one for myself, it was significantly more expensive and more than I was willing to pay for one. I found this for about the same price as the Weller when it was on sale and went ahead and ordered it. The Weller has a rubbery type housing, and this one is metal, as well as the with the Weller one had a finer mesh, but this one seemed rather course and I was skeptical on how well it would clean the soldering iron tip. Well, this one with the course (call it "Charbroil" or what you will, worked just fine. Just stab it in there a few times and the tip comes out perfectly shiny and clean (providing you have a newish tip on the soldering iron). I'm sold on these things and will probably never use a wire brush on my irons ever again unless absolutely necessary.

Works but not super comfortable
It is small and the magnifying glass is kinda in the way sometimes. The fasteners piecing it together is not very sturdy. But it works overall.

So fun!
I give this a 5 star because it made me smile putting it together. At first it looked easy to put it together ,however children will need the help of parents. Overall it is a great product for starters.

Helping hands needed to assemble this garbage
Not only did I receive a used product (already pre burnt) but the quality is garbage, needed helping hands to even put the helping hands together may be easier if your an octopus, the lights are bright and the glass is good but overall not happy with the product I would return it but that's more hassle than it's worth, plus someone else would end up with it anyways your welcome, it did get the job done but wanted to tip over spend extra find something better!!! Edit- decided to return it anyways
