I have always used three piece brass or aluminum rods rifle cleaning, after using this I will never go back to using those this is far better very sturdy and you don't get residue from the cleaning solution because of it being a brass or aluminum rod wish I would have went to one of these years ago

Very nice cleaning rod. It works 100% with Tipton Jag set, and works with some old Winchester plastic patch holder I had for a long time.The rod itself is very strong an yet it won't hurt your rifle's bore. Also it looks better and cheaper than Tipton's rod.Highly recommended.

Excellent cleaning rod and is good and sturdy. When held by the handle the rod rotates freely with the rifling so you don’t get loosened jags, etc. The rod is long so brace your rifle in the device of your choosing when cleaning or you will grip the rod and not the handle and the rod will not rotate. I would recommend this cleaning rod and will never go back to multi-piece cleaning rods.

It worked as it should on a marlin 336.Held sturdy and could handle the bore brush and jag without any issues.The rod is long enough to work with any long gun while using a bore guide.I give it 4 stars only because it is not made in the USA.

Works extremely well

Helps keep from scoring your bore; especially around the muzzle and crown. When cleaning your barrel, metal cleaning rods can damage your bore. This carbon fiber rod feels well made and not cheap. I look forward to seeing how it holds up over use.

I wanted a a cleaning rod that wouldn't mar the rifling in my beautiful reproduction 1866 Winchester and the other rifles I own. This and brass jags seem the best way. My only criticism is that it is too bad it can't be screw together segments like the metal rods on the market. I suppose that probably has to do with the material itself not being susceptible of holding together under pressure (brass tipped screw ends on each segment?). So, while a little unwieldy in storage, the promise of mar free cleaning is worth that little inconvenience.

Strong but flexible and works very well on all my bolt action rifles, 308, 300 Mag and 375 H&H as well as my 12 G shotguns. Too big for any small / light caliber 22LR, 223 etc.
