Wave Men's Waterproof Water Shoes

These are swim shoes. I couldn't walk in them all day. Geez, they are for swimming. I don't slip and fall down which is good because I'd crack the cement around the pool. I can run under water with these and not ruin my feet. I like this pair because it has a cord around the top that I can tighten. That way if I have to run away from the Joker or some other bad person, they won't flop right off my feet, yet they are comfy and pretty cool looking for an old fat man. It reminds me of this one time at band camp when I only had my high top moccasins with me. I had to play softball in them. Actually, if I had these, I would have scored on that screaming line drive I hit to right field. I don't recommend them for softball, but they would be better than high top moccasins.

for the price I paid ($7) these worked great. Intended use was frolicking on beach and for boating. They are not meant for walking around an amusement park. These shoes have hard bottom which protect you from shells/coral. They fit to size, but remember you are not wearing socks. So if you are between a 9 or 9.5 Round down to 9. They do have a cinch in case the shoe feels large. I do not recommend these as a primary shoe or all day water sandal.

I bought these before a trip to Jamaica so that I could wear them while walking along the falls. They did an okay job as my feet did not get cut, however, they were a little too big. I also noticed that one of the shoes had a slight defect and fit a little awkward. These shoes did the job overall, but I could tell they weren't of the best quality. This was somewhat expected with the low cost so you do get what you pay for. All in all they were able to hold up during my trip which is all I need out of them. If looking for a cheap servicable pair of water shoes, I would recommend these. However if you are looking for something that you will use a lot and need high quality, I would look for a different pair.

I would give these water shoes a zero if they let me. I am not sure what shoes are being reviewed by those who give anything other than zero or one star, but the ones I received are worthless junk as far as I'm concerned. My wife and I both ordered a pair of these from Amazon, for use in kayaking and canoeing. They fit pretty well and at first we were happy with them. But then we got them wet, and as we wore them around the campsite, they started disintegrating. We were in and out of the water, unloading the boat and setting up equipment at our campsite. First the insole came loose and wadded up under our toes. Shortly thereafter it came out all the way. We removed the insoles, since they were a nuisance if we kept them in. Since we didn't have any other shoes along for this short campout, we kept wearing them. With no insoles, they were like walking around on slabs of roughened rubber, which is probably exactly what we were doing. They did not dry out overnite, so in the morning when we got up, we put back on the wet, roughened slabs to break camp. When we got back home, I immediately changed to my flip flops, but my wife continued to wear hers. Now the outside soles of hers are shredding to pieces. I really doubt we'll ever use these again. Won't be long, they'll be in the trash. We'll keep using our old tennis shoes we keep around for our water sports.

I love these. I use them on the beach all the time.
