I wanted some glasses that would hold an entire 12 ounces of liquid or 1 can of soda water. I was really tired of my other glasses that would only hold about 10 ounces- leaving 2 in the can to deal with later. I had read other reviews on some other 120z brands that they didn't actually hold 12 ounces so i decided to get these since they claimed to hold 13.75 ounces. I can pour an entire 12 ounce can of soda into one glass and there is still some room at the top ( about a half inch plus) so, they are perfect for what I wanted. My only warning is that they are very slick when wet, so beware that they could slip in your hand. I make certain to put a finger or two on the bottom when holding.
