Price is a little more then I expected but great product

fit perfect on my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT. Excellent Quality ! Good Material Selection !Easy to adjust & install. Replaced the factory one that the metal clip had rusted off on. About 2 minutes to adjust to fit the depth of the bumper and bumper face. The adjustment will let me use this for as long as I will have this truck as when the cushion crushes or become warn as it will from all the vibration from the bad roads and potholes around hear I will be able to tighten it as needed.Far superior to the factory lock and no key cylinder problems to worry about !Wish I had found this 200,000 miles ago ! would have eliminated additional frustration from skinned knuckles due to fighting with the factory one when trying to get to the spare.

Initially I had issues adjusting the fit for my 2016 F150,I wrote to the company and they replied the next day with this explanation...."The pair of screws that hold the tail cap on the lock core should allow you to slide the tail cap back some giving you a looser fit in the bumper. If you have completely removed the screws you should be able to slide the tail cap off. Occasionally the Lock Core and the tail cap fit tightly together and they may not slide freely. If that is happening try removing the screws completely then twist and pull on the tail cap."Mine was one of the tight ones! After following the above instructions it installed smoothly!

Looks like it's a key lock,more sturdy than oem,

One gets the impression that this is a lock assembly. It's not! It is a very expensive plug for the hole.

Much better than stuck on the side of the road with flat and can’t open OEM keyed lock to get the spare tire down. My lock was so corroded and wouldn’t turn to open I had to use large Channel lock pliers to break the lock part to access hole to insert tire tool to lower the spare. I was warned about this happening a while back and anti seized the hell out of lock obviously to no avail. Forgot to mention the possibility of breaking off ignition key trying to turn lock.

This item is just as good as the original OEM you can get at the dealership, but cheaper. I've had this since 2021 and have had no issues with it. Highly recommend if you need a new spare tire lock.

Item looks good once installed. However, the material it is 3d printed from isn’t really hard. When inserting a screwdriver to install this, the plastic material gives easily causing the slot to widen. Not sure how many on/off removals this item can go through before it is unusable.
