I Love My Dad (Ollie the Zebra)

This is a great book for little ones with daddy’s on work a long work trip. I have boys ages 2,6 and 7. All love this book. My oldest is able to read it aloud to his brothers and it is short enough to keep the 2 year olds attention. I would highly recommend this book.

My 3yo granddaughter loves this series! She’s learning some of the words already!

Love that there is also one for Mom!

This is a cute book but nothing special. I bought it for a Father's Day gift and the story is fine, nothing too memorable. The drawings are cute but overall the book is very short and the story is just ok.

Cute book!

Got this for my husband as a gift when he reads bedtime stories to our 18-mo old son. I got the Mommy version as a shower gift. Both are cute and the story is just long enough to hold our son's attention. Drawings are great so the 2nd time through the book we often just look at the pictures.

I am always on the lookout for adorable children's books, and did I find a cute one at the library recently. I Love My Dad, by Anna Walker is such a sweet book. In this story Ollie, the adorable zebra, his dog Fred, and Ollie's Dad love being together. Ollie likes to help his Dad paint the fence; they love banana bread, climbing in trees and playing hide and seek. Ollie especially loves when his Dad give him a piggyback ride to bed.The story is told in simple rhyme, and the size is great for toddlers to tote around too. The author, Anna Walker has illustrated this book, and it's perfect. Simple scenes in colored ink on white make the striped zebras pop, and vivid accent colors, like a red slide, red bicycle and colorful birds in the trees provide excellent contrast.This book would make a sweet gift for from child to Dad for birthdays, Father's Day etc. RECOMMENDED

Cute, sweet book about Ollie and his dad.Ollie lists what he likes to do most with his dad. This book is simple, but the illustrations are great and you can tell the book comes from the heart.
