The machine is affordable and lightweight and has good burners. That's about all the good things I can say about it. It arrived damaged and the stainless steel finish had many blemishes on it which we could not seem to get off. When cooking a gyro cone, there is much oil produced and not only is the internal tray way too small, the oil runs down into the base of the cabinet around the spindle and then out onto the table top and floor before the small pan even fills up. Additionally you cannot access the hollow base too clean out the oil unless you take it apart.The motor could really use a two-speed switch. It turns so fast, it takes twice as long to cook the meat as compared to other gyro machines I have used. This would be comparable to running your hand fast through a flame without getting your hand burnt. We repeatedly had to stop and start the motor to get the meat to brown in a timely manner.I chose to return the product and spring for a more expensive machine that will not have these problems.
