Perfect item: works like a charm, well engineered and good craftsmanship, and very inexpensive. Diabetic dogs require hundreds of dollars worth of stuff a month (insulin, pills, test strips, sensors) and so cheaper items like this are really appreciated.

Works well for a pet's tough skin!
We test our cat's blood sugar level twice daily on a shaved spot mid-back. Cats have surprisingly tough skin, and lighter gauge lancets simply weren't drawing any blood. These things are like tiny little Xacto knives, and do an excellent job. Not to worry, the cat doesn't even notice the poking and pinching as long as he's busy eating.
