I tend towards mild, moisturizing face washes and this cleanser is just that. It has a nice lather action and does not feel stripped afterwards. Lightweight, rinses off, no harsh smell, just a very light cleansing smell. Does not dry out the skin. I like to use stronger products at night, but the nourishing toner is perfect for a morning routine. It leaves my skin feeling balanced and ready for my day.

Works well, cleanses without too much effort.

I'm a big fan of the golden body balm, and picked this face wash up on Vine to try it out. I have combination sensitive skin and usually use a mix of Aveeno and Oil of Olay products to clean and protect my face every day. I have a pretty strong preference for low-scent and sensitive skin products.This golden face wash doesn't lather and has a little bit of a mineral feel to it. To me, there's nothing wrong with no lather--I think that's supposed to be a feature of body cleaning products that are not surfactants. However, the face wash in general might not be the best for oily skin, as I can feel that after 8 hours or less, my chin and forehead are starting to feel pretty oily. And I feel like I've had this experience the few other times I've tried this face wash. So it's not for me, but you may have a different experience with it.

First of all, I looooove Golden's products. Their beard balm and oil are way up their. The face wash is just ok. The bottle is not whats shown. Its a short stubby bottle which makes it more difficult to get the product out than a taller/slimmer bottle. The scent is OK. Not a big deal to me as I follow up with moisturizer and I also use cologne. Its still a good product, but nothing here really sets it apart from the rest.

I reviewed the 5 piece line from this company and gave them a much higher rating.This particular product I received separately and it missed the mark on a couple key areas.1) the bottle shown in the product page from the company is not was sent to me. The bottle shape I received is a squatty bottle with a very hard area around the top.This makes it very hard to get the product out of the bottle. It's almost like the old ketchup bottles that you had to smack the bottom to get the ketchup out.2) the smell is not attractive at all😟. This product smells like vegetable shortening ie. CriscoI don't want a perfume in my facial cleaner but I expect it to smell naturalI would like to see this company reformulate this product and put it in a soft tube instead of a hard squatty bottle

Got this for my son… he said he didn’t like it because it made his skin feel greasy. It is easy to use but just didn’t like the feeling afterwards. It isn’t smelly, good scent for a man, but he is not a fan.

I ordered this for my teenage son. He has been using it every other morning and we have both noticed that his face looks clearer after a couple weeks of use. We're very happy with this face wash.
