Box has rubber feet +, Easy to load +, Box is a heavy sturdy carboard like material finished in a wipeable/water resistant covering (this can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Water on the counter wouldn't affect it if you placed the box on it), Stays in place when you lift straight up and then pull out of the box. It is heavy enough but not too heavy to pull out of a drawer with one hand. Fits inside my top drawer +. Outside dimensions are marked in description. It fits reynolds wrap heavy duty foil that is 18". Foil itself can not be more than 18" wide or it will not fit inside the slit that you pull the foil up through. Only drawl back is you have to lift the lid each time to pull the foil out. The foil does rest on the top of the box but under the lid. You pull it across the slit opening (which is a rubber to hold the tinfoil in place when cutting). This does keep the foil from bunching and making it easier to cut though because the foil is sandwiched between the rubber slit and the cutter. Cutter cuts in both directions. It does cut the first swipe across so far. It stays shut with light magnets which is nice. You are able to lift is with one finger so it is easy to get to the foil if your hands are dirty. Foil is always covered so it doesn't get dusty. Great gift idea. I have only had it for a few days but do not see any issues going forward. Should be packed better, it comes in a box loose with a row of bubble on top. Doesn't protect the box itself. I blame this on Amazon not the seller, since Amazon packs it.

These dispensers are sturdy and cut welll. I have used many different dispensers over the last several years to find the one company that gives good service and has a good product that lasts and is easy to use.This company and dispensers check everything I want! I plan to be able to use for several more years and then hand them down to my granddaughter!!

The media could not be loaded. I love mine! See my video review for helpful tips! YES it’s cardboard, but it’s VERY thick and heavy and mine has held up beautifully since 8/2022 with a LOT of use. That being said, the tin foil they send is the thinnest I’ve ever used and doesn’t work well in their cutter which is where a lot of people have issues with it catching and not cutting. It’s the foil and that is something they should look at. Stay away from their foil lol. To be fair, this listing is deceitful by letting you think it’s metal and not specifying “metal look” and also saying the tissue thin foil they send and sell is heavy duty. It’s anything but. However, I REALLY love mine because I use foil a lot and it’s helped me to be organized and it’s convenient for sure. That makes it worth it for me.

It is perfect for dispensing a large sheet of foil. We have them for both small and large foil and Satan

I have owned this item for a little over two years. However, several months ago, I noticed that the blade is no longer slicing through the foil smoothly. In fact, it now just mangles the foil, which is frustrating the hell out of me! If it's possible to get a replacement blade, I would be willing to keep it. Otherwise, I'm going to toss it and not replace it.

So much easier to use than the cardboard box you buy foil in. Wonderful for keeping your pantry and/or drawers organized and looking nice.

This is not stainless steel. It is some king of thin wood covered in grey wallpaper with wood grain. Definitely not worth the upcharge for "stainless steel.' It does function as intended when using heavy-duty Reynolds Wrap. I didn't even try the lightweight crap that came with it.

We got tired of foil boxes breaking down. The first one of these we bought held up so well we bought a 2nd one for Mike's fishing place. The long size is hard to find.
