Cuts wire with ease
Gave the cable cutters a quick sharpen with a diamond sharpening stone to touch up the edge before use. Cut a AWG 10/ 3 underground cable with ease. Also cut some 6 AWG wires like nothing at all. I should have got these cutters years ago for cutting electrical wires rather than fighting with pliers.Cutters are good quality, and the joint is nice and tight with no play.Highly recommend these.

These are scary.
I've cut through 4/0 wire with minimal effort with these. I am in awe of their power.Please do remember that these are made by Klein, a company that makes tools primarily for electricians. These cutters are really only designed for copper and aluminum wire; they likely will not last long if you need it for cutting bolts and such.

Oh yes it cuts them.It cuts them good.The jaws are a little stiff when they touch, but it's still Klein quality.
