Fell apart in less than 7 months.
I bought these relatively expensive sunglasses last November thinking they would be a quality pair I could wear for quite a while. My husband has two pairs of William Painter sunglasses which have lasted for years, so my expectation was these would as wellLast week while on vacation, I went to put them on and one of the temples just fell off. Obviously a manufacturer defect.I have tried to contact William Painter THREE times but no reply.Lifetime warranty? We'll see.

She loved them) These are awesome sunglasses
I originally got a pair of these from a friend after he got a two for one deal last year. I ended up losing them but when I saw a sale for $54/pair, I immediately jumped on it (I accidentally ordered two pairs and gave one away to a friend. She loved them)These are awesome sunglasses. You can knock them around a bit and they have some weight to them. My Ray Bans are great, but they always seem so fragile. The latest pair I got seems to be a bit tighter on my head than I remember and I think my old ones were polarized. I'm not sure why they feel tighter. If I got another pair I'd order the polarized ones. But, overall William Painter makes great sunglasses which are reasonably priced especially when there is a sale!

Broke with no effort
Considering the cost of these glasses, I had high expectations. They actually feel strong however the first issue I came upon was that the temples felt too short resulting in it being held too tightly to my face. Due to the high cost I took extra caution in caring for it even though the company boasts about the strength of the frame and hinge. I was absolutely dumbfounded by how easily the hinge broke after about a few weeks of light use, it literally broke in my hand whilst closing it to pack away, literally broke like a slender twig, I was in genuine disbelief, even my cheap $10 sunshades lasted me a bout 5 years and my Ray Ban which I bought this to replace lasted about 6 years and survived through mishandling by my 4yo and 2yo. The only good thing about this glasses is the return policy, but I just took a refund.I really did like this glasses for the breif time that I had it for in spite of it being a little too tight but I would recommend spending your money on a Ray Ban instead.

Take a Chance, You've Got Nothing to Lose.
Very pleased with the Sloan glasses so far. I took a chance on them with a coupon, knowing they had a lifetime warranty. Definitely not just a classed-up pair of cheapos. Construction feels great, as does the texture of the material. The hard case is adequate in protection and the included cloth cleans the lenses well. All glasses I try on start a little tight on me, as did these. However, as the included information promised, the frames flexed and stretched a bit to find a better fit. Leave them in the car or somewhere warm to loosen the frame and stretch them slightly. (Don't bake your sunglasses, friends.)I'm sure you can get a polarized lens for a similar price, but probably not with the same warranty and service. The included lenses offer great shade. So I'll take it and maybe see if I can get a good deal on a pair of polarized replacement lenses.Take a chance, what do you have to lose?

OK
OK but Titanium in description is misleading. Nylon plastic frame.

Very light with good fitment.
Extremely light but very good and tight fitment. It was so light, that it almost felt cheap to me. I have this issue where I perceive heavier glasses to be of quality and light of cheap quality, which is not always true. I'm used to wearing my RB's with the glass lens so it has to heft to it. This is an ultra light body with an light nylon lens. Quality product, don't let the weight fool you. Hopefully next time I can save some money to purchase the titanium version in the future.

Comfort Sunglasses
I have had the Sloan for over a year. Great fit, great comfort and lightweight. Even after wearing most of the day, I feel no pinching behind the ears or along the side of my head. Also comfortable on the bridge of my nose. The lenses have held up well and I don't see any scratches. I use these primarily in my car as I needed a pair of "non-polarized" glasses to see my heads up display in my car. I have been very happy with the Sloan sunglasses!
