Very good applicator and a piece of art (I have the walnut variant). It helped me use less oil compared to other applicators. 4 stars because is extremely pricey.

A bit of a luxury item - you do not really need this to apply oil or cream to your wooden cutting boards. Any piece of foam or a clean cloth will work. But if you like the luxury of a nice wooden handle that has a good grip for your hand, you may enjoy this. The item loses a star from me because of the price and what you get for that. Normally I would not spend this much money for what is basically a foam applicator with a handle, but I wanted my companion to have something "nice" in addition to the Boos cutting board.
