I honestly do not know how anyone could write positive reviews for these. It's insulting that they call them "salon" sheers when THEY DO NOT CUT HAIR! Like for real, they will twist and bend your hair in between but still not do what they were designed to do, which is to cut. Not even sharpening these improved how they worked. I've had paper scissors that were much better!!! Absolutely the worst purchase I've ever made on here.

The misspelled item name made me nervous, but you can't find hair-cutting shears under $50 in this stupid pandemic and I had to go and accidentally ruin a better, cheaper pair that I've had for ages right when everyone in the house was starting to look like 1975. If you're desperate, they are probably better for cutting hair than the scissors in your desk drawer, but that's about it.

These are terrible hair cutting shears. The blades are sharp enough, but they do not make good contact with each other. As a result, hair gets bent and pulled when trying to use the tips of the blades to cut.I’ve owned inexpensive shears before without issue, but these are not worth it. I wish I would have spent a few more dollars for something better.

***Update 2019***1 starI bought these again to continue cutting my husband and sons hair but they are very different. The bladed are thinner and they are no longer as sharp.I'm very sad they redesigned a good product.. Looking for something else unfortunately:(***Original review 2014***5 starsI love these! I originally bought them in a fabric store as sewing scissors then ended up using them to cut my husband and sons hair.. They are so sharp and comfortable.. I love them! The thicker handle stops hand cramps and I like that they are great price and easy to find online. Recommended!
