Q: How many full regular kitchen trash bags could fit on this (assuming strapped down with a net) without stacking?

You can fit 2 32 gallon trash cans with room to spare. In those trash cans you can fit at least 6 or 7 stuffed 13-gallon bags in each, which would yield 12-14 bags. Not sure why others wouldn't use pails to maximize capacity. Those bags are so thin I would never want to put them directly in a cargo rack.
