Can i use it for car audio system without throttling my car when listening to music

It is a power supply that you could connect to your car, then plug it in and play your car stereo without running the engine. It is rated for 100 amps. You need to know what your load is so you don't overload it. I have a real concern for your ears if you need all of its power!

I saw a previous question that was answered very vaguely: I see the title saying it's rated at 100 amps but the pictures say 75amp, which is it??

I bought a 100A unit, received a 100A unit. Picture showed 75A.

can it start a car with a dead battery?

Yes AND no. It is not a jump starter but can re-charge a battery over time from being very weak. More info would be needed based on your situation.

Can this be used to charge a battery overnight or will it overcharge/fry a battery?

You can charge a battery with this but the usage is more for a battery maintainer in programming in automotive vehicles.
