Buon VinoMedium Universal Carboy Bung for Better Bottle - Drilled

Have purchased 3 over the last couple of months. Very happy with them and they fit my better bottles just fine. Will likely buy again as I am switching from glass to plastic. Been brewing/fermenting for about 25 years now and am getting too old to lift the filled glass.As to the negative reviews about numbers of units, read before you buy. As to those that could not fit them in the bottle, either they sent the wrong bung and you didn't make an effort to correct it, or your bottle is not a better bottle, but rather something with a wide mouth opening. Negative reviews should be for genuinely defective products or really poor dealers, not errors on the part of the customer. Amazon does a great job of helping customers, but the customer has to make an effort.BTW, $7.00 is reasonable for this size bung.That said, I also bought some fermentation locks from them, and while they worked fine - they were very fragile.

This does not fit the Better Bottle Carboy. I bought several of these for my better bottles and they are all to small, they just fall right through the hole. Pretty upset that they are titles for Better Bottles.

It is too small. It barely fits and can easily be pushed into the bottle and dropped in the wort on accident. Get the next size up!

This is definitely too small for a Better Bottle brand 5 gallon carboy. Only the small flange keeps it from falling in. If you have a better bottle, use a large, or size 10 instead of this.

Works on better bottles(duh) and on those three and 6 gallon bottles you can buy at win-dixie and walmart as well.
