I bought this diaper because I couldn't find any disposable swim diapers in my son's size. This is such a great baby item and I wish I had known about these when my daughter was a baby! I went by the size chart and it fits perfectly. I was really pleasantly surprised at how well it fits. Additionally, it seemed to do a great job of keeping pee in once he was outside the water. That is an upgrade from a regular disposable swim diaper for sure! Taking it off is so easy-just undo the snaps and it comes right off. (Or you can tug it down baby's legs, but that's harder when it's wet). Also, I thought it was interesting that even after repeated swims in a lake (which turns ANYTHING close to white a dingy brown), the inside of the diaper was just as white as it was when it came out of the package. That means that outer layer is darn good at keeping lake water out! I would buy another one of these in a heartbeat and we'll be using these until my son potty trains. For the price of one bag of swim diapers, you're getting a diaper that will last a long time.

Our son decided to take a dump in it once we put it on him. I suggest you get a disposable diaper to put on your child and just before you go into the water, change into the swim diapers because once they get wet, the stuff on the inside will be on the outside. As with all things, use your best judgement and check your child's diapers a few more times than normal when they are wearing these diapers since I've found that the comfort level of the cloth diapers encourages the kid to "go" more. Yes...I've tested the theory. They also sleep better in the cloth diaper... until they get wet of course. All in all it's great for beach vacations or normal weekends at the beach or pool. I recommend

I bought this for my almost two year old. She is 21 months and in a 2t. This fit her so nicely and is really well made. I bought only one to test it out but I will definitely be buying more. I have bought a few of the cheaper adjustable ones on amazon before. They are ok but they definitely do not fit up to 3 or 4t. They barely fit my daughter and she is average size. I’ve tried disposable ones as well and I still like this type much better. The only thing I would change would be to have buttons on both sides but not if it effected the fit. Really a great purchase if you don’t want to go the disposable route.

I've used this brand since my son was born, so this is our 4th pair! They're great, easy to put on and take off and they're easy for him to move around in the water in. He's pooped in them a couple of times and it's stayed contained - and that's the idea, right?! So much better than spending money on disposable especially if you're spending time in the water multiple times a week.
