My husband and I have wanted to put a nativity scene out as part of our outdoor Christmas decorations, but it’s been a daunting search for the perfect one. This silhouette-style nativity is sophisticated and yet simple, well-made, and is a good size and height for our front yard. I also liked how this one in made here in the USA. My husband and I didn’t find it difficult to assemble, and since we live near the Windy City, we decided to install the additional brackets and anchor it better to the ground.That was a good idea, as a winter storm roared through shortly before Christmas bringing snow, high winds, and extreme cold. The nativity survived the storm, although I took out the lambs as a precaution (they don’t go far into the ground). It’s also been rained on, and as far as I can tell, it hasn’t cracked nor warped.Overall, it’s a very sturdy and sleek product, and well worth the money. I think I will be sad to take it down after the Christmas season. At least it will definitely survive several more Christmases!

Ordered from Amazon 3 days ago and it arrived ahead of schedule.I have been wanting a nativity scene for several years to add to my front yard Christmas decor, but have either not found anything when I looked in stores or not liked what I found. I do not care for the painted, blow-mold plastic figures. They look a little cheesy to me and will fall down when it's windy (at least that is what I've observed over the years around my neighborhood).I like the dignity and subtle peacefulness of the silhouette this scene offers. It is simple, and says everything, in my opinion. I did hang a lighted star from a tree limb above it and it looks really good. I'm a bit of a Clark Griswold with my house lights, but I decided not to put anything else in the vicinity of this nativity scene other than the star above it. I think it's nearly perfect and couldn't be more satisfied.This is pretty expensive. I was reluctant to pay the price, but did so after reading many positive reviews. I also liked the longevity factor of the marine grade plastic. The whole deal arrives in one flat cardboard box that is engineered to be used over and over for storage (very nice). The instructions are in plain English and have colored illustrations that are very easy to follow. Everything fit together perfectly and the poles and stakes are aluminum (no rust worries).I feel like I bought a quality product that will last for years and am elated that it looks so great in my front yard and conveys the real meaning of Christmas without looking silly. I now consider this purchase an investment in Christmas decor, not an expense.

This nativity set caught my eye because it's a simple, yet beautiful design. After buying it, I have actually seen nativity sets of the same design around my local neighborhoods. The main difference, however, and the reason I am so glad I purchased THIS set is that the other sets that I saw were warping or starting to peel due to the weather. You see, they had been designed using the same template for the shapes, but they had been made of either plywood or pressboard. Not this set! It's made out of a thick, very sturdy plastic that actually feels and sounds like wood (if you knock on it)! It held up VERY well to a nasty, rainy December. The pieces are also very well-designed for standing up to strong winds. I never once had to go out and fix the set or stand them back up. I set it up once at the beginning of December and was free to simply enjoy seeing it every day for the whole month as I arrived home from work, etc.I purchased mine with the additional two trumpeting angels set. I highly recommend buying them too, as it made for a wonderful scene. I would have bought more of the complete set (i.e. the wise men, shepherd, etc), but I don't have a very large front yard. Great product!!!

My manger seen is built of heavy quality material. Love this product . Very weather resistant !

My son made me one just like this, but out of plywood, several years ago. Unfortunately it was not weathproof and came apart and broke after a couple of harsh winters. I was thrilled to see one just like it made from solid PVC with a bonus storage box. I’m sure this will endure many more harsh winters here. The one reduced star was for the storage box. It definitely won’t hold up to store it in. Corners were already torn. I was expecting the box to be in a more durable material than just the cardboard shipping box. I suggest a corrugated plastic box would be great for your future shipping for such a wonderful product.
